Transforming is a game mechanic in Cozy Grove that allows the player to transform items into their processed versions, often increasing their value.
Burning[]
Burning is the first transforming option available to the player when they start the game. Materials can be burned by speaking to Flamey and selecting the items to burn from the inventory.

Recycling[]
Recycling becomes available to the player after they meet Francesca Duclaw and complete her third story quest. Materials can be recycled to create new materials by speaking with Francesca Duclaw and selecting the items to recycle from the inventory.

Hairball refining[]
Refining becomes available to the player once they unlock the interior of their tent. Once the interior is unlocked, the player can enter the tent to find their cat beckoner inside. By interacting with the cat beckoner, the player can transform the cat hairballs they own into imp or animal essence of a different type.
