Several storage options exist in Cozy Grove for the player to store all their items:
- The player's backpack contains the items in the immediately available inventory. The player starts the game with 28 slots of backpack space that can be further expanded to 40 slots with backpack upgrades purchased at Kit's Canteen.
- The player's tent can also be used to store items. The tent has 12 storage slots available at the start and can be upgraded by Flamey to provide up to 196 slots.
- Chests can be purchased at Kit's Canteen once the player upgrades the shop three times. from Pandam for 40 gold ingots, or from Ms. Carouse. Chests can be placed anywhere on the island or inside the tent. Chests purchased at Kit's provide 28 storage slots each, and legendary chests from Pandam or Ms. Carouse have 40 slots.
- The player's closet can be accessed by speaking with Flamey and is used to store the player's clothing.
