This article is a work in progress as its content is from the recently released Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit.
Shells are natural resources found on the shoreline in Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit. The player can pick them up at any time and they appear multiple times a day. The available shells vary by season. A maximum of 20 shells can spawn on the island per day; once the player picks all twenty, the shells stop spawning until the day changes.
Shells are one of the categories of items requested by Tallow for her collection. Shells can also be sold to shops.
All shells stack to 30 in the player's backpack or storage.
Classification[]
Type[]
There are seven different types of shells: clams, conches, cowries, corals, snails, stars, and whelks. Each shell has a specific name, which may or may not refer to its type.
A clam

A conch
A coral
A snail
A star
A whelk
Rarity and Appearance[]
Each type of shell has five degrees of rarity. Their appearance changes as they become rarer. Common shells are called rough, uncommon ones smooth, rare ones sparkling, legendary ones glowing, and mythical ones crystal.
Rarity Variant Images
Season[]
The shells available depend on the current season. The seasons last for two months each and overlap, meaning the player can find two types of seasonal shells each month. The color or a shell depends on the season:
- Early Spring (March–April): red
- Spring (April–May): blue with pink
- Late spring (May–June): green
- Early Summer (June–July): blue
- Summer (July–August): yellow
- Late Summer (August–September): pink
- Early Fall (September–October): brown
- Fall (October–November): red and black
- Late Fall (November–December): cyan
- Early Winter (December–January): purple
- Winter (January–February): white with blue
- Late Winter (February–March): rusty beige

Shell Models[]
Each type of shell has a shell model that can be crafted for display. Shell models, when placed, take up a one-by-one grid space and are displayable on tables and other displayers. The shell model's rarity impacts nearby pets' likes and dislikes.
Shell models are crafted with Tallow's "I want to craft a shell model." menu option. Shell model recipes are only displayed in the crafter if the player has the base shell in their inventory (backpack or storage).
A shell model's crafting recipe ingredients are based on its rarity. All recipes require one of the type of shell being modeled and a number of ground shells that varies by rarity.
