Semi-precious gems are materials and currency used to buy and craft several items. Because they are used as a secondary currency, they cannot be sold directly to Mr. Kit.

Semi-precious gems can be obtained by:
- crafting five quartz gemstones at the Crafter.
- earning certain badges.
- donating certain items to Tallow's Collection.
- buying them from Mr. Kit or Pandango.

- Semi-precious gems are used to purchase uncommon rarity decorations.
