Sauerkraut can be cooked by Allison Fisher using one salt, one happy deer essence, and one fancy greens. The recipe can be randomly found in a leaf pile or received for donating other pickles to the collection.

One sauerkraut can be donated to Captain Billweather Snout's collection in exchange for 120 and two random cooking recipes: one for pro pickles and one for master pickles.
