
Quests are tasks given to the player by resident Bears the player can complete to get rewards or advance bears' stories in Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit. Completing quests is also the main way the player can earn Spirit Wood used to meet new bears and expand the island.
Two types of quests exist in the game: untimed story quests and timed daily quests. Story quests advance bears' stories, allowing the player to learn more about their, fill their heart meter, and restore their memories. Daily quests have a time limit, do not provide any story development, and give random rewards. There are no penalties for letting a timed quest expire.
Basics[]
Accepting quests[]
Every day a bear has a chance to give the player a quest, provided they has no quest active. The quest can be started by speaking to that bear and selecting the quest option if necessary.
If a bear is ghostly blue and their area is not colored, they will give the player a story quest. If a bear is colored but her area is not, they will give the player a daily quest. If both a bear and their area are colored, they will not give any quests, but the player can still converse with them to listen to some gossip or occasionally advance their story.
Once the quest is accepted, its icon will be shown in the quest log in the top right corner of the screen. The player can select the icon to see the quest's requirements and its time limit (if applies).
Completing quests[]
After collecting all items required to complete the quest, the player needs to talk to the bear that has given it to hand the quest in and get their reward. The items given to bears are transferred from the player's backpack or storage automatically. If a quest requires one or more items from a group (say, food, fish, or critters) instead of handing in random items right away, the window with list of items will appear, and player will be prompted to select the items they would like to give until the quest requirements are met.
Once the player completes a quest for a bear, this bear's area will get colored and will stay lit and colored until the start of the next game day. Once a bear reaches five hearts, their area will stay permanently colored.
Types[]
Some quests require the player to simply collect materials, food, fish, or other resources, others ask for more specific actions, like chasing or feeding imps, catching critters, collecting quest items, or taking photos.
Hidden Objects[]

Some quests require the player to collect hidden items on the island. These items spawn on the island only after the player accepts a quest involving them. The player can view a short hint that refers to the location of one of these items in their quest log. All objects required for a quest spawn on the island at once and can be picked up anytime their quest is active.
If the player has trouble locating items, they can get a hint from the Hint Machine for 75. Purchasing the hint adds a marker with a magnifying glass pointing at the object. Only one hint marker can be active at a time.
Hidden items for story quests remain on the island until the player collects them and hands them in. Hidden items for daily quests disappear both from the island and from the player's backpack once the quest timer runs out.
Photo Quests[]

Some bears can ask the player to take one or more photos of bears, imps, pets, decorations, or other items for their quest. These photo quests can only be completed after the player gets a Spirit Camera. All photos need to be saved in the album to count towards the completion of the quest.
