Mysterious Critter Enthusiast is a unique non-playing character because they only send the player mail. The player's only contact with them is by letter. They do not sign their letters, and their name is unknown.

You frolic through grass, casually terrorizing the critter population with your net. Your brutal technique is highly impressive. I want to see your trophies. Bring your critters to the ancient flame. She can fashion totems from wing and leg. You have such potential. I will continue to observe. Do not disappoint me.

Your technique evolves beyond mere collection. I sense true bloodlust. Good. Your critter trophies are nothing sort of exquisite. Each one a masterpiece, their fearful faces forever frozen. There is no sight in this world that can compare to the art that you have created. A reward is due. I look forward to seeing more of your work, for it pleases me deeply.

Your hand moves as if guided by a great power... perhaps you were destined for this. I must confess, I began this observation out of curiosity, but I find myself learning from you. The way you swing your net... it is poetry in motion. Your raw rage, your beautiful cruelty... they are lessons in power. A token of appreciation, from one critter collector to another.
