• As quest rewards from Sofia after she obtains Venetian.

Uses

Unlike other imp or animal essences, mundane hairballs are not used in crafting or cooking. Instead, they can be transformed into other essence types by interacting with the cat beckoner inside the player's tent.

Two mundane hairballs can be refined into one spirit essence of any type.
