Hidden Object (Cozy Grove)

Hidden objects are a type of Quest Item the player is required to find and collect on the island in order to complete daily and story quests for the bears in Cozy Grove. Hidden objects have no use other than being handed in to complete quests; they cannot be sold to shops or donated to the collection.

Overview[]

Hidden objects spawn on the island only after the player accepts a quest involving them. The player can select a quest in the menu to see a hint on the location of one of the items; the hint is updated after the player collects the item the hint is referring to. The first part of the hint usually refers to a nearby landmark, the second part to the action the player has to take to get the item. Note that all objects required for a quest spawn on the island at once.

If the player has trouble locating items, they can get a hint from Charlotte Pine for 100. Purchasing the hint adds a marker with a magnifying glass pointing at the object. Only one hint marker can be active at a time.

Hidden items for story quests remain on the island until the player collects them and hands them in. Hidden items for daily quests disappear both from the island and from the player's backpack once the quest timer runs out.

Position Hints[]

Hidden items can be found on the ground, inside dirt mounds or leaf piles, in special objects like stone statues, or obtained from imps the player has to chase.

Hint	Explanation
Behind something.	Item is usually on the ground, often hidden out of sight by another object.
Buried under a leaf pile. Search amongst the pieces of a broken urn. Try checking the grass piles. I see sand piles in your future. Look for a pile of skulls. Have you looked at any stick piles?	Item is inside a regular leaf pile or any of the special piles. Requires no tools to get.
You'll find it buried in a dirt pile.	Item is inside a basic dirt mound. Requires a shovel to get.
One of the imps has it. Chase* them!*	Item is held by an imp with a question mark above their head. Once the player chases and catches the imp, they can interact with the imp to get the item.
A critter has it. Catch* them!*	Item is held by a critter on the island. Once the player catches the critter, the item drops on the ground. Requires a critter net.
At sea near the coast.	Item is inside a clam or a crate in the ocean. The player needs to skip a stone so it hits the clam or the crate to get the item. Any skipping stone works.
Look for a statue and shake it.	Several statues spawn on the island, and only one matches the description given in the hint. The player needs to approach and interact with it to get the item. After the item is collected, all statues disappear.
Look for a number-leaf clover and dig it up.	Several clovers with a different number of leaves spawn on the island. The player needs to find the clover mentioned in the hint and dig it up with their shovel to get the item. Digging an incorrect clover up drops a bag bug.
Look for a stone tile with a symbol and break it with a pickaxe.	Several stone tiles with different symbols spawn on the island. The player needs to find the correct tile and break it to get their item. Breaking an incorrect tile drops a bag bug.
Look for a thorny flower stalk with number blooms and chop it with a machete.	Several thorny flower stalks spawn on the island. The player needs to find the one with the correct number of flowers and chop it with their machete to get the item. Chopping an incorrect thorny stalk up drops a bag bug.

Location Hints[]

These hints usually refer to a nearby landmark. Some landmarks are located in or nearby a bear's area, others can randomly spawn anywhere on the island.
