Flowers are resources the player can harvest from bushes and potted plants. The number of flowers the player can harvest depends on whether bushes and plants are next to the items they like and away from the items they dislike.
Flowers can be recycled into tins of flower pigment by Francesca Duclaw.
Each type of flower and each color variant is a collection item for Captain Snout's Collection.
Overview[]
Obtaining[]
Flowers can be purchased at Kit's Canteen for three bird, deer, of imp essence each. The type and age of essence used depends on the flower type and its shade variation. Potted flower plants can also be occasionally obtained from Patrice Furbac or Ursula Pine as quest rewards.
Flower plants available at Kit's Canteen come in different pots; bushes can have three different sizes, and can be potted or not. These differences are purely cosmetic and do not impact the harvest.
Potted flower plants are not seasonal and are randomly available in the store all year round. Flowering bushes are seasonal and are only available for purchase during their respective season.
Wild and hybrid shade varieties are available in Kit's Canteen from the start, exotic variety appears in the shop the next day after the player reaches Spirit Scout Rank 14 and unlocks Ted Sapsen.
Flower blossoms (not potted flowers) can also be obtained by skipping stones at pink clams, as a reward for one of Bruin Tram's daily quests, or by launching a seasonal firework near imps, bears, or animals.
Harvesting[]
Once the flower plant is placed, it continues to bring harvest regardless of the season. Flowers can be harvested every 72 hours.
To increase the number of flowers harvested, the player can place flower plants near the items they like and away from the items they dislike.
- Potted flower plants like other potted flower plants, lamps, and cozy decor and dislike rustic decor.
- Flowering bushes like other flowering bushes, lamps, and natural decor and dislike common items.

There are currently twelve main color variants. Colors are mentioned in information bubbles when the player buys pots and bushes, and when they select placed pots and bushes. Colors for bush flowers are seasonal while potted plants are randomly available.

Flower by shade[]
There are currently three different shades per color: exotic, hybrid and wild, for a total of 36 different color variants per flower.
The way wild, hybrid, and exotic variants look depends on the type of flower.

Seasonal flowers[]
A special type of flowers, orchids, is only available during spring festival when Ms. Carouse visits the island from April 27 to May 25. Orchids can be purchased or crafted at Ms. Carouse's store and then used for crafting festival exclusive dyes.
Different pots and sizes[]
Potted flower plants come in five different pots. Flowering bushes come in three sizes and can be potted or not. These differences are cosmetic and do not impact the yield.
